[6-Aug] In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19, the government of West Bengal has declared a complete lockdown in the state. As per the update August 5, August 8, August 20-21, August 27-28 and August 31 will observe complete lockdown. Please expect a delay in pickups and deliveries as logistics operations will be impacted during this period.
[14-Jul] Recent announcements of full/partial lockdown in Bengaluru, Pune, Patna and other cities will impact logistics, and will delay shipping to certain areas. Depending on the distance of your city from Bengaluru, it may take anywhere from 3-10 days for the actual delivery.
[9-Jul] Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, governments of Bihar and West Bengal have imposed a strict lockdown in their respective states. In Bihar, the capital city Patna was placed under a complete lockdown from 10th July till 16th July 2020. Similarly, both Kolkata and North 24 Parganas are under strict lockdown for 14 days starting 9th July. Please expect a delay in pickups and deliveries as logistics operations will be impacted during this period.
The long everyday battle
The coronavirus outbreak is foremost human tragedy that affects hundreds of thousands of people around the globe. It is also having a growing impact on the global economy. We have been working with leaders across government bodies and businesses with a perspective on the evolving situation, and its implications.
As the outbreak continues to infect more and more of people, we comply to the advisories by Government of India. We have been operating on 26500 PIN codes with the relaxations provided by MHA, covering all the three zones - Red, Orange and Green. It may be noted that no deliveries are allowed in the containment zones.
As per latest guidelines from MHA, with Lockdown 4.0 announced on the eve of May 17, 2020 - we have resumed shipments to all zones without any restrictions on any categories and size of products. The only exceptions are Containment Zones, for health and safety are top priorities. The service restoration is effective starting May 19, 2020. We also keep updating the same into our PIN codes service feature when you are on a product page. As on date we got more than 26,500 PIN codes integrated into the system.
We understand that further relaxations in Lockdown 4.0 as measures to support our economy & our people. The pandemic however continues. We therefore advise all our customers to stay indoors - we are now delivering for you. We are operating less than 50% of our staff to maintain social distancing in our warehouse and workplaces. We are strictly following the guidance on all possible measure for zero contact secure transactions, safe packing and zero contact delivery.
As we have started shipping your orders after a long pause, we would appreciate your cooperation if you see initial delays in delivery schedule – we are working super actively to pick up the momentum again for faster and faster deliveries. Till we pick up the momentum again, we might not be able to serve you with expedited delivery at all PIN codes.
We continue to support payments via Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, EMI and Wallets (including PhonePe & UPI). We also aggressively working with our payment gateways to enable more online payment options by integrating even more wallets and card less transactions.
Lastly, please avoid stepping out - at least for the products available with FLAIR GLASS. Stay indoors, stay safe. We are committed to deliver your orders on ASAP basis.
